I guess I choose the wrong age group to teach

I have read that Children are traumatized by active shooter drills to the point that they need long psychological treatment to deal with the trauma.  

How is a child supposed to be able to focus on learning if they are worried they may not make it through the day, or see their Parent or Brothers and Sisters at the end of the day?

    We need nationwide Red Flag Laws, and background checks so the wrong people don't have easy access to guns.
