Bend is going to grow. 70,000 extra people in 20 years. Density is dense.  We are going to have major problems with traffic with that many people crammed into the area the size of Bend in 20 years. The Traffic in Bend is atrocious now. It will be far worse then.

     There will be more accidents. Insurance rates will go up. There wil have to be stop lights installed along every side road in order for people to get onto main roads. No left turn signs will have to be placed along the main roads.  people will have to turn right, go around the block, and try to cross the main road.  Good luck with that.
